This project comprised designing a new ancillary building, containing a pottery studio and garage, to sit adjacent to a traditional detached cottage on a rural site.

The studio had to accommodate a pottery kiln and associated activity space and glazed openings were introduced to create a visual link with the main house and allow views out to the surrounding landscape.
